Golf & Track and Field Postponed due to weather.
The WTC JH & HS Track Meet scheduled for Thursday, April 14 has been postponed to Tuesday, April 19. That meet will begin at 9:00 am.
The Bridgeport Invitational Golf Meet scheduled for Thursday, April 14 has been postponed to Friday, April 22, also beginning at 9:00 am.

It was the last Kindergarten Buddies Day for our Tigers Committed students that have been doing activities with the kindergarten classes once a month through the school year. Both high school students, Kindergarteners, and teachers have really enjoyed their time together.

Due to poor weather forecasts, the Mitchell Invitational Track Meet scheduled for April 7th has been postponed until Saturday, April 9th. Field events will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Due to hosting the Class C-9 District Track Meet, there will be no school on Thursday, May 12 for Mitchell Jr/Sr High. Mitchell Elementary and Pre-School will have school as normally scheduled.

Mr. DeMoine Adams spoke to grades 4-6 today. He was a 3 year starter at the University of Nebraska and went on to play for the Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, & San Francisco 49ers. He is the current CEO of Teammates Mentoring program based in Lincoln, NE. He had a great message for our students. Our challenge tonight to families: Please do not ask your child tonight about the "bad" things that happened at school today, but ask them about Mr. Adams' message & how they can use his message to be a better student & person! We would like to thank Mrs. Mary Kay Haun, the Teammates Coordinator for Scotts Bluff County, for bringing Mr. Adams to MES.
