The FFA competed at the first of three district CDE contests yesterday in Scottsbluff. The Floriculture team placed third overall and qualified for State! Alissa Hodsen 2nd, Audrey Carlson 20th, Ashton Keener 26th, Reese Sauer 28th. The Livestock Management Team placed 12th overall. The Welding Team placed 17th overall. The Ag Sales team placed 6th overall: Emmitt Carlson 16th, Rylan Houk 17th, William Pieper 19th, and Mason Pitts 24th. Overall we had a good day with one team qualifying for State, bringing our State Qualifier count up to 14 kids with two more competitions to go. Our next competition will be January 31st in Gordon consisting of Ag Mechanics, Vet Science, Food Science, Farm and Ranch Management, and Envirothon.
Mitchell Boys Wrestling Team will not travel to compete in Friday's Triangular at Kearney-Catholic or Saturday's Gibbon Wrestling Invite due to bad weather conditions.
We will postpone Hunters' Safety to start next week.
